Édouard Halouze was recognised for introducing the idea of cubism into costumes and fashion and for contributing to the development of the 1925 style. He worked for many music halls from 1922 to 1931 and illustrated magazines, particularly fashion ones. He was rediscovered with the rehabilitation of Art Deco in the late 1960s.
