Jean le Seyeux began drawing in 1920 for the Bataclan, then for the Rip revues, the Concert Mayol and the Folies Bergère. In 1921 he worked for the Casino de Paris until 1929 where he also created revues. In 1937, when the first signs of war appeared, he left for New York where he worked at Earl Carroll's Hollywood Theatre and as artistic director on Broadway. He returned to Paris in the early 1950s. Like Gesmar and Gyarmathy, he often designed complete revues.
