ZIG, born Louis Gaudin, began around the age of 16 in 1922 at the Cigale. He worked for a long time at the Casino de Paris and the Folies Bergère, notably creating posters for Mistinguett and Joséphine Baker. He was the one who replaced Gesmar as Mistinguett's designer after the latter's death.
